Talk:5α-Reductase inhibitor

medrs comliance edit

Yobol, agree with removal of the 2 primary sources. Appreciate justification as to why Persistent Sexual and Nonsexual Adverse Effects of Finasteride in Younger Men (http://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/smrj.19/abstract) is not compliant with medrs. 92.41.154.151 (talk) 19:24, 2 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

Changes made in October 2017:

We are students studying Drug discovery and development in a course that is a part of a Master’s program in Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Iceland. Editing or conducting a Wikipedia page regarding Drug discovery and development is one of the assignments in this course. In this assignment we decided to make some changes to this Wikipedia site. We added a chapter that is about drug discovery and design which is divided into two groups of 5 alpha-reductase inhibitors, steroidal and non-steroidal, along with its SAR. We took out the Pharmacology chapter and replaced it with Mechanism of action. Medicine in use we put under drug discovery and design. Minor changes were made in the Side effects chapter, which we renamed Adverse effects. Also we made a chapter called Natural products for the Saw palmetto extract. We would have liked to write a chapter on Pharmacokinetics, since all such information is missing, but didn’t have time to do so. Wikihopur2 (talk) 09:59, 2 October 2017 (UTC)Reply
