loosely based on the lives of some of the actors edit

The US DVD is in French and English, with English sub-titles for the French dialog. The same DVD is labeled as having alternate Spanish sub-titles; would these be of both the French and English dialog? What about all the other versions?

The US DVD comes with an interview with Delpy, in English. (What about the other versions?) This interview is an important source of information. The film is loosely based on the lives of some of the actors. It was written with specific actors in mind. It was earlier thought that it would be made very cheaply, but more funding was obtained and it was made fancier, with higher production values.

The Swedish translation has subtitles for both the French and English dialog. It's common procedure for films containing several spoken languages, which requires the audience to follow both, so I believe that would be the case for the Spanish sub version, too. Delpy speaks very good English for a Frenchwoman, btw. Practically no French accent. 惑乱 Wakuran (talk) 11:42, 19 December 2010 (UTC)Reply
