Starting this off edit

I finally started an article about EDSA II (it's about time). But I'm not exactly sure if the article should be under this name. Simply calling it "EDSA II" seems a bit colloquial. TheCoffee 19:11, 11 Feb 2005 (UTC)

I think that the title is good enough. If you're wondering about colloquiality look no further than Bill Clinton. --seav 05:00, 13 Feb 2005 (UTC)
The last two sentences seem baseless: "This revolution is also considered as a revolution of rich Filipino people of 2001. Many rich personalities joined in this revolution." Consider removing these sentences or adding supporting statistics/reports.--Mendz 07:46, 20 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Impeachment article edit

Is there an article on Erap's impeachment proceedings? Seems like one of those must-have history articles. Shrumster 16:40, 8 August 2007 (UTC) Philstar.com had a website's worth of tidbits. Dunno if the wayback machine saved those. --Howard the Duck 15:55, 9 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

Image copyright problem with Image:Php bill 200 back.jpg edit

The image Image:Php bill 200 back.jpg is used in this article under a claim of fair use, but it does not have an adequate explanation for why it meets the requirements for such images when used here. In particular, for each page the image is used on, it must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for the use in this article.
  • That this article is linked to from the image description page.

Not enough discussion on underlying causes in article edit

The Trial of Joseph Estrada where he was found guilty of certain offenses would seem relevant. The reasons given for his ouster are given short shrift but there was a large number of reasons for discontent that this article glosses over. Lambanog (talk) 05:35, 4 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

Charges which led to the trial weren't filed until several months after the events recounted in this article were done with, and the verdict wasn't handed down until nearly seven years later. I don't see much relevance. I've just fixed the dead link to the book in the Further reading section of the article[1]; I happen to have a copy of that book, and it provides some info about the situation leading up to and surrounding the events recounted in this article in more depth that this article provides. It's not previewable online, though. Wtmitchell (talk) (earlier Boracay Bill) 00:12, 5 December 2010 (UTC)Reply
I've removed the {{POV}} tag. Wtmitchell (talk) (earlier Boracay Bill) 11:47, 10 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

Angelo Reyes edit

The article doesn't mention Angelo Reyes -- he has to mentioned although I don't know when he withdrew support. Maybe on the third or last day? –HTD (ITN: Where no updates but is stickied happens.) 11:10, 8 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

Envelope? "Second" envelope? What? edit

Serious work needed on explaining things. E.g., "the second envelope" appears in the text out of the blue. What is it? What envelope was voted on, etc.? 71.200.28.21 (talk) 23:50, 26 January 2013 (UTC)Reply

I've proposed moving EDSA Revolution → EDSA Revolution (disambiguation) edit

I've proposed moving EDSA Revolution → EDSA Revolution (disambiguation) and redirecting EDSA Revolution to point to this article. Since editors of this article might be interested I post a note here. Please do not discuss here but rather at Talk:EDSA Revolution. --Bruce Hall (talk) 05:29, 25 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

2001 EDSA RevolutionEDSA II – Consistency with EDSA III. Charles Essie (talk) 15:43, 8 March 2015 (UTC)Reply

  • Support. Also, "EDSA III" was also an EDSA Revolution that happened in 2001, so that should help clear up things. –HTD 17:25, 16 March 2015 (UTC)Reply

The above discussion is preserved as an archive of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on this talk page or in a move review. No further edits should be made to this section.
