The final was escluded by the UEFA Champions League logo. --Stephan Sensuality (talk) 11:27, 15 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

Format edit

In 1993-94 for UEFA Champions League meant only the group stage and the semi-finals (in 1992-93 only the group stage). After 1994 all the tournament was denominated UEFA Champions League. The final was escluded in 1992-93 and 1993-94 seasons because was broadcast on television by the EBU.

Example: in 1992-93 and 1993-94 A.C. Milan matches in the group stage (and the 1994 semi-final against AS Monaco) were broadcast on Canale 5 (Silvio Berlusconi's channel) because Canale 5 bought the television rights of UEFA Champions League, but the final was broadcast on RAI TV, because RAI TV is a member of EBU.

Conclusion: for UEFA Champions League, in 1992-93 and 1993-94 seasons, were escluded the first round, the second round and the final. --79.25.25.251 (talk) 11:31, 16 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

The following sentence does not make sense: "Previous year were made changes to the UEFA Champions League's format, who from two seasons, with the groups, formed the heart of the event: it was introduced one legged semi-finals taking place after the group stage, meaning that two sides qualified from each group". I'm not quite sure what the original author is trying to say, but perhaps they could re-word it? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2.125.56.177 (talk) 13:06, 18 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

As Monaco edit

The country flag of AS Monaco isn't correct. The club is in no way a representative of Monaco (the country) since there is no championship right there. Monaco, as everybody knows, qualifies as a "French club", quite like Swansea City (Welsh but a member of the England football pyramid) in the European competition.
