Saugus Union School District (SUSD) is a public California school district located in Los Angeles County within the city of Santa Clarita, California. The district serves students in grades k-6. There are also pre-school programs on-site at many of the schools. The district is home to 14 elementary schools. The district's mission is as follows: The Saugus Union School District in partnership with the home and community is committed to excellence in elementary education. There are fourteen different schools in the district:

Santa Clarita Elementary School
Santa Clarita Elementary is the oldest open elementary school in the SUSD. It was opened at the corner of Seco Canyon Road and Decoro in 1960. It serves preschool–6th grade and houses around 625 students. In September 2010, they celebrated their 50th anniversary with the opening of a new science laboratory.
Bridgeport Elementary School
Bridgeport Elementary is an elementary school that serves grades K-6 and neighbors its own park, Bridgeport Park.
Cedarcreek Elementary School
Cedarcreek elementary school in SCV(Santa Clarita Valley) and SUSD, serving K-6.
James Foster Elementary School
James Foster (JF) is an elementary school in the SUSD. The school is K-6.
Charles Helmers Elementary School
"Helmers" is a K-6th grade Elementary school in the SUSD. The school was established in 1990.

Northpark Elementary School
Northpark serves children in grades K-6th. The school is in the Santa Clarita Valley and is part of the SUSD.
Plum Canyon Elementary School
Plum Canyon Elementary is an elementary school in SCV(Santa Clarita Valley) and SUSD, serving K-6. It also has a preschool.
Rio Vista Elementary School

Rosedell Elementary School
Rosedell Elementary serves children in grades K-6th. The school opened its doors in 1967.
Skyblue Mesa Elementary School
Skyblue Mesa Elementary School is an K-6 elementary school in the Santa Clarita Valley. It is in the Saugus Union School District.
Tesoro Elementary School
Tesoro Elementary serves children in grades K-6th. The school is in the Santa Clarita Valley and is part of the SUSD.
West Creek Academy
West Creek Academy is a K-6th grade elementary school in SCV (Santa Clarita Valley) and SUSD, serving K-6. Established 2010.
Schools that have been closed
Saugus Elementary School. This school was the first school in the district's history. The school opened in 1908. It was located in the triangular corner of Magic Mountain Parkway, Bouquet Canyon Rd. and Valencia Blvd. The school closed in 1978. The school's bell can now been seen in the bell tower of the Jan Heidt Metrolink Station in Newhall.
Bouquet Canyon Elementary School. This school was opened in the mid 1990s and closed in the spring of 2010.
Emblem Elementary School. This school is scheduled to re-open in time for the 2013-2014 school year. The school is currently undergoing renovations which will increase its capacity for students.
