Robin Vecchi (born 3 January 1992) is a Swiss professional footballer currently playing for SC Dornach on loan from FC Basel.
Club career
Vecchi began his playing career at FC Basel and rose through the youth ranks, soon playing regularly for Basel's reserve team starting in 2010, but not making a breakthrough into their first team. In 2012, he joined lower league outfit SC Dornach on loan, taking part in their 2012–13 season.[1] He made his debut for Dornach on 25 August 2012 in a 1-1 home draw against FC Baden.
International career
Vecchi was a Switzerland youth international. In 2009 he was part of the Swiss under-17 team that won the 2009 FIFA U-17 World Cup beating host team Nigeria 1—0 in the final. Vecchi featured in 4 of the 7 matches at the tournament, all as a substitute.[2][3][4][5]
