      Richard Nordquist is an American author. His works include Writing Exercises and Passages: A Writer's Guide—both "grammar and composition textbooks for college freshmen".[1]

      Life

      Since 1976, Nordquist "has taught English composition, rhetoric, business communication, creative nonfiction, and literature to several thousand students" at the graduate and undergraduate level.[2]

      Since 2006, Nordquist has served as the "Guide to Grammar and Composition" at the website About.com.[3]
