Redan Middle School is a Public School located in Lithonia, Central DeKalb County. It is owned and operated by the DeKalb County School System.

Redan Middle School is Currently under the direction of Ms. Johnson-Reese and three assistant principal for each grade:

• 7th grade Mr. Edward
• 8th grade Mr. Wilkerson

History

Redan Middle School opened to grades 6-8 in the 2003-2004 school year. This school has unique assets including Redan Middle School features integrated technology instruction. All core area classes (language arts, science, math, and social studies) have stationary computer units to challenge students at all grade levels. In addition, Redan Middle School features a Computer Writing Center, a Technology Education Lab, a Business Education Classroom, and a Media Center all of which integrate life skills with academics and challenges students to become critical thinkers.

Redan Middle School also has an active Conflict Resolution Program that serves all students. This program is designed to assist students in effectively resolving conflicts.
