Rebecca Gernhardt Cox (née Range) is a Republican operative and lobbyist who worked for President Ronald Reagan.
Career
Rebecca Range served as Director of the Office of Public Liaison from July 1987 until January 1989. She was also appointed by the president to serve as chairman of the Interagency Committee for Women's Business Enterprise. Prior to those appointments, Range served as assistant secretary for governmental affairs at the Department of Transportation beginning in July 1985. After leaving the White House she became the chief lobbyist for Texas Air.[1] She is now a Vice President for Continental Airlines.
Personal life
On August 29, 1992 Cox married former Reagan staffer, Congressman, and SEC Chairman Christopher Cox.[2]
