Aid Es Sighn is on the first day of the 10'th month, Shawnal or October for America. This holiday is believed to celebrate the little day and little feast. The Algerians prepare by scrubing down their houses and painting their window shades. They also put on their best dress and deliver pastries to friends, family and neighbors.
