iVan (Previously Professional Van and Light Truck Magazine/PV<) is a United Kingdom based automotive industry magazine, which tracks the light commercial vehicle (LCV) industry, and was first issued in September 2003.
The magazine presents awards each year, during April (coinciding with the Commercial Vehicle Show), using their unique award system - unusually, the categories are based on cubic metres of load space, and the commercial vehicles are judged by a panel made up of journalists, asset management and leasing professionals, and uniquely LCV operators, distinguishing the awards from other publications. The awards are only given to one vehicle, even if that vehicle is identical to a badge engineered vehicle, working on the principle that in reality an operator has to pick one vehicle.
In February 2006, the magazine held the UK's first conference oriented toward the needs of the UK van operator.
The magazine which is often referred to as PV< or PVaLT is published by the specialist commercial vehicle industry organisation Campbells Commercial Vehicle Marketing Group, which leads to the magazine having a large breadth of coverage, including many international articles. The managing editor is Tim Campbell. Tim also presents the Men & Motors TV show Trucks. The editor is John Fife, who also provides the editorial content for Truck and Plant Trader, as well as being a highly respected and long serving UK Rally correspondent.
In November 2007, Professional Van and Light Truck Magazine's Publisher, Tim Campbell announced that a sister publication known as Professional Truck and Trailer Magazine. The new HCV Publication was launched in April 2008 at the Commercial Vehicle Show in Birmingham.
