Paramyxine is a now invalid genus of hagfish being a junior synonym of Eptatretus. It currently includes two species, both of which belong in the genus Eptatretus. However, two species of Eptatretus are currently homonyms of the two Paramyxine species and need to be renamed before the following two species are officially transferred to Eptatretus.
