Normanichthys crockeri, the Mote sculpin, is a ray-finned fish, the only member of the family Normanichthyidae. It is found in tropical South Pacific waters, from Chimbote, Peru, to Isla Mocha, Chile where it is found at depths of from 37 to 200 metres (121 to 660 ft). This fish reaches a length of up to 11 centimetres (4.3 in) TL. Common vernacular names for the species in Spanish include Camotillo (in Peru) and Bacaladillo (in Chile).
