Mynewsdesk was founded in 2003 and is based in Stockholm, Sweden but the company also has sales offices in Oslo, Malmö, Gothenburg, Copenhagen, Singapore,[2] and London.

The company is primarily owned by its founders as well as the Norwegian company NHST Media Group.
