(Described as Mitra mauritiana) This shell resembles Reeve's Mitra lacunosa, but it is regularly cancellated by pitted grooves and ridges. The form is cylindrical, with shouldered, straight-sided whorls. The lip of the aperture is slightly crenulated. [2]
