Microsoft Wave

Microsoft Wave is a website dedicated to new technologies and developments to come out of Microsoft. Microsoft describes the site as a showcase of cool technology and a place to find the freshest technology developments.[1]

Microsoft Wave is owned by Microsoft's United Kingdom division and according to Microsoft blogger Steve Clayton, the aim of the site is not to sell anything, but to simply show the breadth of technology Microsoft creates.[2] Despite this claim, the site does provide links to purchase items of software or hardware.

It features new technology to come from Microsoft including Kinect, Windows Phone 7, Xbox 360, Photosynth, Zune, and much more. The site also contains blogs from Microsoft staff including Ben Nunney, Rob Margel and Steve Clayton. New technology is categorized into software, hardware, learn, blogs, and videos.
