State Route 161 (SR 161) is part of Maine's system of numbered state highways. It runs 83.03 miles (133.62 km) from Fort Fairfield to Allagash. It begins at an intersection with US Route 1A (US 1A) in Fort Fairfield, and deadends at the St. John River west of Allagash.[1]
SR 161 runs through the communities of Fort Fairfield, Caribou, Woodland, Madawaska Lake, Stockholm, New Sweden, Cross Lake, New Canada, Fort Kent, St. John, St. Francis, and Allagash.
