The Department of Chemistry & Biomolecular Sciences (CBMS) is a constituent body of the Faculty of Science at Macquarie University. The department was established in 2005 when the existing Department of Chemistry teamed up with sections of the Department of Biological Sciences who specialised in molecular and cell biology.
