Maat Pitaah Ke Charnon Mein Swarg is an Indian television series based on the concept of love, emotion, and respect among children and parents.[1] The series premiered on Colors on June 29, 2009, and is produced by Rajan Shahi. This follows the story of Shubh, who faces many ups and downs of his life with his parents and family's desires. He is the eldest son of the Tripathi family following Arjun (Nikhil Chaddha) and then Ansh. Gayatri is a family friend and the daughter of Satyanarayan's former servant/brother material Tilluram (Sunil Jaitley), and Gayatri's mother is Jhini, who later in the series gets blindfolded by Manorama and Chandar.

Character Descriptions

  • Shubh- Shubh is the eldest son of the Tripathi Family and the son of late Kamla & Satyanarayan Tripathi. As a young child, his mother died in riots while trying to pay money for Shubh's operation. Being handicapped, her faces life with insult and invaluable treatment. He will do anything for his step-mother Yashoda (Satyanarayan's second wife and hos father Satyanarayan. Satyanarayan espiecially likes Shubh and believes that his decisions are always right and done for someone's well-being. Later in the series, Yashoda's love for Shubh changes due to Lolita and Arjun filling her mind with misunderstandings about Shubh and Suhani. Shubh marries Suhani later in the series.
