Louis Finson
Louis Finson (1580–1617), also known as Ludovicus Finsonius, was a Flemish painter.[1]
Finson was born in Bruges. His father Jacques Finson was also a painter. He traveled visiting Italy,[2] Spain, and France,[1] and enjoyed much success during his lifetime. Finson primarily painted religious-themed works, and was commissioned to produce a number of altarpieces and portraits. He died in Amsterdam in 1617.
