Lipophrys pholis, commonly known as Shanny, is a species of combtooth blenny.[2] It matures at two years of age.[2] Distributed in the Eastern Atlantic from the southern Norway to Morocco and Madeira, including the Mediterranean and the Balearics.[3]Lipophrys pholis feed primarily on crustaceans, but also feeds on plants and invertebrates.[2]
