Leerbroek (51°55′N 5°3′E / 51.917°N 5.050°E / 51.917; 5.050) is a village in the Dutch province of South Holland. It is a part of the municipality of Zederik, and lies about 9 km (6 mi) northeast of Gorinchem.

In 2004, the village of Leerbroek had 1560 inhabitants. The built-up area of the village was 0.096 km2 (0 sq mi), and contained 197 residences.[1] The statistical area "Leerbroek", which also can include the surrounding countryside, has a population of around 980.[2]

Leerbroek was a separate municipality between 1817, when it was separated from Meerkerk, and 1986, when it merged with Zederik.[3]
