Kuh Yakhab Rural District

Kuh Yakhab Rural District (Persian: دهستان كوه يخاب)[3] is in Dastgerdan District of Tabas County, South Khorasan province, Iran. Its capital is the village of Tappeh Taq.[4]

At the National Census of 2006, its population (as a part of Yazd province) was 2,764 in 688 households.[5] There were 1,966 inhabitants in 533 households at the following census of 2011.[6] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 2,049 in 598 households, by which time the county had been separated from the province and become a part of South Khorasan province.[7] The most populous of its 100 villages was Tappeh Taq, with 439 people.[2]
