Series in the storyline
Azar Ki Ayegi Baraat
The first serial aired in November 2009 on GEO TV consisted of eight episodes. The plot featured a love story of a boy from Faisalabad & a girl from Karachi who fell in love and got married. Their marriage turned out to be a big blunder with anything that could go wrong actually went wrong.
Dolly Ki Ayegi Baraat
The second serial aired in June 2010 on Geo consisted of seventeen episodes & a telefilm which aired in March 2011. The plot featured Nabeel & Dolly (from Azar Ki Ayegi Baraat) trying to figure out their feelings for each other being real or just an infatuation after Azar & Sila's mariage. During that time Dolly's parents chose Mushtaq(Taaka) to marry her and Nabeel's parents wanted him to marry someone he hasn't even met before. Sila and Rabia got pregnant and this caused issues between the two. On other hand, Sila suspects Azar having a relationship with his boss which was making her very moody.
Takkay Ki Ayegi Baraat
The third serial that premiered in June 2011 has 16 episodes. The serial was based around Sukhi & Mushtaq (aka Takka). The serial introduced new characters in the storyline. The show ended in September 2011.
Annie Ki Ayegi Baraat
This fourth part of this series is about Annie who is Sila's cousin from Canada(Naveen Waqar) . She will be getting married to Mikaal Ahmad, (Shehzad Shaikh) a famous celebrity working in one of Faraz's films. He is quite popular with girls but falls for Annie who does not show any interest in him. At the same time Laila and Vicky realised that they actually have feelings for each other. On other hand Mehr-un-Nisa travels to England where she mest Khalid Bhanji and falls in love with him. Also Dolly gets pregnant in this series. The show ended in late August 2012. There will be a new barat coming to GEO drams in June 2013- TBC. It is most likely to be a new character getting married to bobby, Characters confirmed to return: Rabia Dolly Faraz Nabeel Suki Mustaq Lalia Vici Samia Choudry Bati Saab Arfa Cala- 1 Episode Silla Azar- Characters not returning and confirmed no to return: Nani Khalid Bangi
