Prince Karl Anselm Franz Joseph Wilhelm Louis Philippe Gero Maria of Urach, Count of Württemberg, 4th Duke of Urach (born 5 February 1955) was the head of the morganatic Urach branch of the House of Württemberg.
Biography
He was born in Regensburg, Germany the son of Prince Eberhard of Urach and Princess Iniga of Thurn and Taxis. He is a grandson of Wilhelm, Duke of Urach who was from 11 July 1918 to November 1918 the king-elect King Mindaugas II of Lithuania
Prince Karl Anselm succeeded his uncle Karl Gero as fourth Duke of Urach following his death in 1981. He held the Ducal title until 1991 when he renounced it due to his morganatic marriage. His brother Wilhelm Albert succeeded him in his titles.
Karl Anselm is the owner of Greshornish Forestry estate in Inverness, Scotland.
Marriage and issue
He married Saskia Wüsthof (born 1968) on February 9, 1991 at Stuttgart. They had two children before divorcing in 1996.
