Karim Martínez (born February 3, 1991 in Humble, Texas) is a Mexican-American professional boxer in the Light Welterweight division.[1][2]
Amateur career
During his amateur career Martínez won the bronze medal at the 2007 National Police Athletic League (PAL) championships[3] and made it to National Golden Glove Tournament of Champions in 2008.[4]
Sparring partner
In Antonio Margarito's Camp for his November 13, fight with Manny Pacquiao, Karim was one of his main sparring partners.[5]
Professional career
On August 19, 2010 Martinez knocked out the 38 fight veteran Charles Sims to win his pro debut.[6]
