Kananga, Leyte

Kananga is a 1st class municipality in the province of Leyte, Philippines. According to the 2010 census, it has a population of 50,482 people.

Kananga was created in 1950 from the barrios of Lonoy, Kananga, Rizal, Tugbong, Montebello, Aguiting, Agayayan, Montealegre, Libungao, Naghalin, and Masarayag which all used to be part of Ormoc City.[1]
