Jade-Lianna Gao Jian Peters (born June 18, 1996) is a Chinese American child actress. She is best known a naturalised American television voice actress for the Nick Jr. TV series, Ni Hao, Kai-Lan.
Early life
Jade-Lianna Peters was born in Beijing, China, she was adopted by John and Kathleen Peters in 1997 and they arrived in the United States in 1998. She lives with her parents and her adopted sister in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She attended Milwaukee School of Languages, a public school in Milwaukee. She goes to an acting and singing school known as Actorsite, in Sherman Oaks, California, run by Jack Turnbull.
Career
Peters started acting at the age of two in a Welch's Grape Juice TV advertisement. She was also in commercials for U.S. Cellular, McDonald's and Wal-Mart. In 2005, she starred as Tiny Tim in the Milwaukee Repertory Theater's A Christmas Carol.
She appeared as a guest star in a season 1 episode of Victorious as Mrs. Lee's daughter, Daisy Lee. The episode she starred in was "Wok Star".
