I'm So Excited! is a 2013 Spanish comedy film written and directed by Pedro Almodóvar, and starring Javier Cámara, Cecilia Roth, Lola Dueñas and Raúl Arévalo. The original Spanish title is Los amantes pasajeros, which has a double meaning of "The fleeting lovers" and "The passenger lovers". The narrative is set almost entirely on an airplane. Almodóvar describes it as "a light, very light comedy".[2]

Production
Produced through El Deseo, I'm So Excited was financed entirely by pre-sales. Filming started 9 July 2012 in Madrid.[2]
Release
The film was released 8 March 2013.[2]Sony Pictures Classics have acquired the American distribution rights[3] and will release the film in North America on 28 June 2013.
Reception
The film has received mixed to positive reviews by critics. The review aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes reported that 62% of critics gave the film a positive rating, based on 26 reviews, with an average score of 6.1/10.[4] On Metacritic, which uses a normalized rating system, the film holds a 61/100 rating, based on 6 reviews, indicating "generally favorable reviews".[5]
