Helen Ryan

Helen Ryan (born 1938) is a British actress.

She played Queen Alexandra in the British television series Edward the Seventh, for which she received a BAFTA nomination in 1975.^[1] She received the role on account of her distinctive voice, which even in her early youth sounded like that of an old lady. Ryan also played Princess Alexandra in the 1980 movie The Elephant Man. She also played Queen Wilhelmina of the Netherlands in the television drama Bertie an Elizabeth.
