HC Minaur Baia Mare is a handball club from Baia Mare, Romania. It relegated from the Romanian Handball League in 2011.
History
- 1974 - HC Minaur Baia Mare was founded on 14 May, when it became the first handball-club only (without any other sports sections) in Romania;
- 1978 - Minaur win the first trophy - the Romanian Cup of Handball;
- 1985 - By winning the EHF Cup, Minaur became the first Romanian team from outside Bucharest to win a European Trophy. The performance is repeated in 1988;
- 1998 - Minaur win the Romanian Handball League for the first time, making it again in 1999.
