Gold is a digital datacasting service that launched on 1 May 2012 by the WIN Corporation. It is available to homes in regional WIN Television viewing areas on Channel 84, and metro WIN Television viewing areas (Nine Perth and Nine Adelaide) on Channel 94. The channel broadcasts mostly infomercials, as well as education, lifestyle and community programming. Gold contains mostly infomercials.
On 26 April 2012, a test loop commenced on channel 84 with the channel title of TBA. On 30 April 2012, this was changed to a screen informing viewers that "WIN Gold" would commence on 1 May 2012. The channel began at 6am on 1 May 2012.
On 5 May 2012, only 4 days after the channel was launched, the name was changed to Gold, removing the carrying of the big WIN logo with the branding.
Besides infomercials, segments of programs from WIN Television are shown on the channel. Titles include:
- David Knox. "WIN Gold launches on Channel 84". Retrieved 2012-05-03.
