Gluskin Sheff + Associates Inc. (TSXGS) is a Canadian independent wealth management firm that manages investment portfolios for high net worth investors, including entrepreneurs, professionals, family trusts, private charitable foundations and estates. Gluskin Sheff also serves a select number of institutions as clients. It currently manages portfolios with a minimum value of $3 million for Canadian, U.S. and international investors. Gluskin Sheff offers a range of equity and fixed income investment portfolios, in addition to being one of the largest managers of alternative investments in Canada.

The Firm was founded in 1984 by Ira Gluskin and Gerald Sheff. The Firm went public in 2006, listing on the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX) under the symbol “GS”. The executive leadership of Gluskin Sheff + Associates Inc. consists of Jeremy Freedman, President & CEO, and Bill Webb, Chief Investment Officer. Collectively, Freedman and Webb have been with Gluskin Sheff for over 25 years.

Gluskin Sheff + Associates Inc. hired internationally celebrated economist, David Rosenberg, in March 2009 as Chief Economist & Strategist. David Rosenberg is the author of the widely read daily economic commentary, Breakfast with Dave.

Gerald Sheff and Ira Gluskin continue to provide their expertise to the Firm; Sheff serves as the Company’s Co-Founder and Chairman of the Board of Directors and Gluskin continues to serve as Co-Founder and Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors.
