Gerry Pennell
Gerry Pennell OBE (born 1 July 1959) is a British IT Executive, formerly a director at Co-operative Financial Services,[1] who studied Mathematics at Manchester University. Gerry Pennell was named as Chief Information Officer of the London Organising Committee of the Games (LOCOG) on 19 September 2008.[2][3]
Previously, Mr Pennell was Director of Technology for the 17th Commonwealth Games[4] held in Manchester 2002.
He was appointed an Officer of the Order of the British Empire in the 2013 New Year Honours.
