Galha LGBT Humanists
Galha LGBT Humanists was founded in 1979 as the Gay Humanists Group and later the Gay and Lesbian Humanist Association (GALHA). It is a United Kingdom-based not-for-profit that campaigns for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) equality and human rights and promotes Humanism as an ethical worldview. It is membership-based and organised democratically.
Since mid-2012, Galha is the official LGBT section of the British Humanist Association. It campaigns for equality and diversity, particularly relating to sexual orientation and identity - both in the UK and internationally.
Galha is affiliated with the International Humanist and Ethical Union (IHEU) and Amnesty International. The logo of Galha contains a version of the Happy Human.
Galha regularly publishes a newsletter and hosts events in London, UK.
The current Chair is Adam Knowles.
