The discography of American singer Fiona Apple consists of four studio albums, two extended plays, sixteen singles, and thirteen music videos.

In 1994, Apple signed a record deal with Clean Slate Records, Work Records and Columbia Records,[1] and began recording material for her debut album Tidal. Tidal, containing elements of Alternative rock, baroque pop, and piano rock, was released in 1996 and became a commercial success, being certified triple platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA)[1] for selling over 2.7 million copies in the United States.[2] It established Apple's presence in the music industry. The album produced the Grammy-award-winning controversial single "Criminal".[3] In 1998, Work Records was absorbed by Epic Records, which then released Apple's sophomore album now simply known as 'When the Pawn… in 1999. The album's full title currently holds the record for the third longest album title[4] and was certified gold by the RIAA.[1] In 2002, Apple began recording for her third studio album, Extraordinary Machine, which was delayed for more than three years after being bootlegged in 2004.[5]Extraordinary Machine, containing pop-oriented sound, was released in 2005 and was certified gold by the RIAA.[1] In 2008, Apple went on a hiatus while secretly recording new material for her fourth studio album, now simply known as The Idler Wheel.... The album was released in 2012, seven years after the release of Extraordinary Machine. Fiona Apple has sold over 5 million albums worldwide.[5]
