For some reason this image doesn't appear in some pages, like Capital Area Transportation Authority, however the old blue one did appear... also, I think we should be using the old symbol, as it is internationally-recognized and standardized. --Shadowlink1014 03:14, 19 March 2007 (UTC)

And copyrighted and non-free. I don’t know why rsvg screwed up in that article, but I changed the size and it seems to work now. By the way, this image is on Commons, so maybe further discussion should be there. —xyzzy_n 04:10, 19 March 2007 (UTC)

Oh, I didn't know that, sorry! It's very odd that such a universal symbol is copyrighted... but yeah, I do see now, that it's owned by a standards organization. I'll be sure to post future discussion on other images on WikiCommons when it's there.  :) --Shadowlink1014 04:54, 19 March 2007 (UTC)

The official symbol has international recognition, and should be used wherever possible, within the terms of its free-use (e.g. to show step-free access). This is an awful image. It should be scrapped. Depicts a person with a partial, or shortened arm, originating in the wrong position for a human being. Not all wheelchair users have arms. Most do not have partial or shortened arms. I doubt any have them jutting from their chests. --Lexein 01:41, 5 April 2007 (UTC)

Unless the organization charges for the usage of of this symbol, we should use the unfree version, its a universally known and accepted symbol... its like trying to redesign a stop sign to a free version. RickyCourtney 00:45, 3 May 2007 (UTC)

Still not working properly

The links in Greyhound Lines of Canada to this image just appear blank on my computer (Firefox 2.0.0.3 under WinXP Home), so the table showing which types of coach are accessible is useless. I can see it fine here, so it's not that my system can't show SVG images. What's up? Loganberry (Talk) 00:04, 16 May 2007 (UTC)
