In truth, the character and all art handed to The Fine Young Capitalists are under public domain. Claims that the character was created for the sake of being a logo for the board /v/ are also false. It was created by users, and is, in way, a self-image portraying the community as a whole, but there has never been any intention of the character becoming the logo of the board. The purpose of the design was to be included in the game created by TFYC, nothing more.

4chan as a company also does not claim copyright ownership to any content created by its users.

Therefore, neither the character depicted, nor the art in this file are copyrighted content.
