Dispute? edit
This file has been listed on Wikipedia:Possibly unfree images because the information on its source or copyright status is disputed writes Wikidudeman, via a template.

I believe Book or magazine covers aren't fair use unless they are in an article detailing the actual book. I may be wrong. I'll let someone with more knowledge of fair use to decide. I tagged it seemed to fit the criteria of fair use counterexamples 4 or 7.Wikidudeman (talk) 02:42, 19 February 2007 (UTC)
- As Jkelly has pointed out, it's not a "free image" dispute. It's a fair use dispute. I don't see how it resembles counterexample 4 or 7. I concede that use of the image on that page is now not in accordance with the strictest interpretation of fair use, in that the book itself is not discussed. That's a fair point, and one I'll attend to pretty soon. -- Hoary 08:05, 19 February 2007 (UTC)
