As a professional photographer I believe this image is a daytime photo that has being edited using computer software to appear like it was taken at night, for several reasons- the transition between illumination of the planes from light to dark is too defined, there is no runway lighting which should be present and the planes look as if they were photographed in sun light rather than at night under artificial lighting. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 84.66.218.30 (talk • contribs) .

I agree that the authenticity of this image is questionable. The hard and fragmented fading of the lights makes it appear that it has been edited. Farside6 16:33, 27 February 2007 (UTC)

I live in the bay area, and have been to SFO many times. This is how SFO looks at night time, even the number of planes is typical at night time. Based on the cardinal directions and the way shadows are cast in the bay area due to it's position in relation to the equator, this is not an altered day time photo. Plus, the lighted areas look artificial, because the Sun light in that area of the bay is rarely ever so "white". Also, why would the lights be on in the entrance if it was day?
