The background to the image says "Indian Families Bass & Weaver", Paul Heinegg. His work stated that the Bass and Weaver families were descended from free Negroes in Virginia. It seems misleading to relabel the photo here as Nansemond Indians.--Parkwells (talk) 02:45, 6 May 2008 (UTC)
