Has anyone actually checked into the copyright status of this logo? According to our Hells Angels article, the current logo was created in 1959 by Ralph "Sonny" Barger. Assuming that it was published in or around 1959, it would have needed a copyright notice, as well as a copyright renewal within 28 years (circa 1987). I see that they've aggressively litigated it, but all such litigation seems to be on trademark claims, not copyright. Any thoughts? cmadler (talk) 15:33, 10 January 2013 (UTC)
