This is quite a nice detailed diagram, however it would be nice to have on the image the more general classifications of spinal regions. The diagram is already color-coded in corespondence to these regions, so from top to bottom it should read: Cervical (orange), Thoracic (purple), Lumbar (yellow).
As the key associated with the diagram is already filled up defining each of the numbered vertebrea, I would suggest either a key imbedded in the diagram or simple headings next to each region.
