Question with image? edit

First off, yes, I completely realize that if I have questions about correcting this image, I really should "try the talk page of an article that the image is used in". However, since this image is on many pages, AND because my question is more about the content of this image specifically and less about how that image is related to each of those articles, I felt that it was more appropriate to ask my question here on the image's talk page instead of posting (and reposting) my question on every single talk page of the articles this image appears in.

Now, my question: I see the pink border is the "Yat border between the Bulgarian dialects." However, what does that border represent? Are the people to the left/West of that pink border ones that use the Yat character, or is it the people on the right/East of the border? Or does that border simply reflect that one group uses Yat one way while the other uses Yat in another way? -- 66.92.0.62 (talk) 22:39, 5 February 2012 (UTC)Reply
