Description
English: 1912 Marble, Colorado, south side of Park Street between West 3rd and West 2nd Street. Foundation corner ceremony for the Columbus Catholic Church. The Yule marble was being donated by the Colorado Yule Marble Company workers were donation the labor. Construction went no further than the foundation. The company president died of injurines from an accident in August 1912 and his successor did not want to continue with the donations. A large amount of the foundation still exists (November 2011) and the cabin on the far right still exists (November 2011)
