English: XE 3634 Built by Vulcan Foundry Company Limited England in 1930.This engine was commissioned in Indian railways in 1931 in Great India Peninsular Railway now called Central railway.Later on purchased by madya Pradesh electricity Board Korba purchased in 1979Broad gauge Engine weighs 196 tonnes and is about 79 feet long .Its Wheel arrangement is 2-8-2 .piston stroke is 30 feet,water capacity 6000 gallons and coal capacity 14 tonnes.( Source Northern railways)
