In the background are two tractors, the one on the left being mostly obscured. Each tractor is connected by a belt to a separate De Prony Brake Dynamometer in the foreground. From a scanned print in the University of Nebraska–Lincoln Digital Collections, wherein the right-hand tractor is identified as an IHC Tractor.
