Summary

Description A view of the Welland Canal bridge 15 (former Canada Southern Railway main line, now a little used branch line owned by the Canadian Pacific Railway and operatied by Port Colborne Harbour Railway). The bridge crosses the Welland Recreational Waterway, an abandoned channel of the Welland Canal and has not swung since the end of the 1972 shipping season. The bridge is a rare Baltimore Truss. Bridge 13, the Main Street vertical lift bridge, can be seen in the background. Also visible in the background is the modern Lincoln Street Bridge, which replaced vertical lift bridge 14.
