Description
English: View northwest from Carn Brea, Penwith. The hill of Carn Brea in Penwith is sometimes called the "first and last hill", given that its proximity to Land's End. Like the other Carn Brea (near Redruth) this hill was the site of prehistoric activity, with many stone-built burial cairns and signs of settlement. The hill is also a fine viewpoint over this southwestern tip of England. Everything in the lower half of the photo is in the grid-square, including Little Brea farm.
