English: The Assembly Rooms, Corporation Street, Tamworth Built by public subscription in 1889 the grand old lady of Corporation Street has been used for everything from assembling gas masks during the war to public meetings and a wide range of musical entertainment. The Beatles also famously played at the venue in 1963. "Tamworth Assembly Rooms is the premier entertainments venue in Tamworth and host to a wide variety of events.
